LUTHERAN HIGH NORTHEAST DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
                                 MON     8-30-10

Today’s Psalm & Prayer:  Psalm 10:12-14, 16-18:  “Arise, Lord! Lift up Your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless. Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, ‘He won’t call me to account?’ But You, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless . . . The Lord is King forever and ever; the nations will perish from His land. You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; You encourage them, and You listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more.” We pray:  We thank You, O God, for watching over those who are needy, weak, or defenseless. Bless victims of poverty, starvation, abuse, war, and persecution. Bless us with loving hearts that we may reach out to them as You guide and direct us. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
First of all, a big “thank you” to all students, faculty, and staff who helped with Beef Blast. We couldn’t have done it without you. Your time and effort were appreciated very much. Students, just so you know, without this event you’re tuition would have to go up by $200.

Lutheran High assumes no responsibility for items taken from your locker. We encourage you to treat your lockers with care, use your combination lock, and refrain from keeping expensive personal items in them.
